Marcie Lynn Bentz

Marcie Lynn Bentz, 43, of Natrona Heights, passed away Monday, January 22, 2018 at her home. She was born August 7, 1974, in Natrona Heights to Connie A. Hartzel Bentz, of Natrona Heights and the late George F. Bentz. Marcie was a 1993 graduate of Highlands High School. With her love for children, Marcie worked at a daycare center. She was a member of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Natrona Heights. Marcie enjoyed camping, fishing, working the concession stand at the little league games, but she especially enjoyed spending time with family. She is survived by her mother, Connie A. Hartzel Bentz, of Natrona Heights; brother, Craig Bentz (Jacqueline Miller), of Natrona Heights; nephew, Shane Wicks; uncle, Gary Hartzel, of Lower Burrell; aunt, Karen (Ronald) Selvaggio, of Lower Burrell; and by her cousins. Marcie was preceded in death by her father, George F. Bentz on January 15, 2002; brother, Timothy M. Bentz; maternal grandparents, Walter and Amelia Hartzel; and by her paternal grandparents, George and Josephine Bentz.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4, 6-8 PM in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a blessing service will be held on Friday at 10:30 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM in Most Blessed Sacrament Church with the Rev. Aaron Kriss as celebrant. Burial will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Marcie may be made to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, Keystone Chapter, 1501 Reedsdale Street, Suite 105, Pittsburgh, Pa. 15233.
