Leo A. Wasilowski

Leo A. Wasilowski, 88, of Natrona Heights  passed away peacefully with his family at his side on Sunday, November 27, 2022 at Allegheny Valley Hospital.  He was born April 11, 1934, in Natrona Heights a son of the late Stanley and Mary Wasilowski. Leo was a 1952 graduate of Har-Brack High School. He retired from the shipping and receiving department for PPG Industries in O'Hara Twp. and later worked as a courier at Allegheny Valley Hospital.  Leo was a member of Guardian Angels Parish, former St. Ladislaus Church in Natrona where he was an usher and a member of the former Holy Name Society.  His favorite past time was family time and being Dzia Dzia.  He was an avid Steeler fan since the 1940's. Leo enjoyed going fishing, bowling and gardening.  He was very proud of his Polish heritage, especially his church, St. Ladislaus in Natrona.  

Leo is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Betty (Sutorka) Wasilowski; his children, Sandra (Charles) Kohler, Robert (Annette) Wasilowski, David (Lisa) Wasilowski, Mary Ellen (Tracy) Adamik and Susan Negrich, grandchildren, Shawn (Katie), Lauren (Matt), Michelle (Zach), Megan (Matt), Luke, Kevin, Stephen (Demi), Emily (Cole) and Morgan (Chris), great-grandchildren, Jake, Ben, Isaac, Stas, Ava, Lou, Liam, Oliver, Kenzly, Eleanor, Watson, Harper, Sophia and Bennett and by several nieces and nephews.  

In addition to his parents, Leo was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Rachel, sister, Irene Dassonville, step father, Joseph Levish and by his Levish siblings.  

Friends will be received on Thursday from 1-3, 5-7 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a parting prayer service will be held on Friday at 9:30 a.m.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. in Most Blessed Sacrament Campus.  burial will be in Mt.
