John S. Holacik

John S. Holacik, 57, of Natrona, passed away Friday, Nov. 27, 2015. He was born Aug. 9, 1958, in Natrona Heights, a son of the late Stephen J. and Frances G. Klukaszewski Holacik. John was a 1976 graduate of Highlands High School and attended the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. He was a member of St. Joseph Roman Catholic Parish in Natrona. John was a lifelong artist and was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan. He is survived by his sister, Eileen Ann (Daniel) Hobbs, of Smithfield, Va.; nephews, Dr. Daniel (Brandi) Hobbs and Dr. Timothy (Dr. Rakshya) Hobbs; and by his great nephew, Daniel C. Hobbs Jr.
Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday in the CICHOLSKI-ZIDEK FUNERAL HOME INC., 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights, 724-224-8688, where a blessing service will be held at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10 a.m. in St. Ladislaus Church, Natrona, with his pastor, the Rev. James Mazurek as celebrant. Burial will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights.
