John P. Cieslinski 66, of Buffalo Township was called home by his Lord and Savior on Friday, June 4, 2021, after a two and a half year courageous battle with cancer. He was born November 21, 1954, in Natrona Heights to the late Stanley and Angela (Pawlowski) Cieslinski. John was a 1972 graduate of Lenape Vo-Tech. He retired after over 30 years of service from Allegheny Ludlum Steel in Brackenridge. John was a member of Crosspointe Church in Pittsburgh. He loved playing the lottery, going to gun bashes, golfing, hunting and going to the Rogers Auctions. John was know for his sense of humor and loved spending time with his family. John is survived by his wife of 32 years, Shelley (Simpson) Cieslinski; his children, Adam Cieslinski, of Freeport and Laura (Andrew) Rupp, of Cranberry Township and by his three grandsons, Ezekiel, Zion and Maverick. In addition to his parents, John was preceded in death by his brother, Stanley Cieslinski and by his sister, Elaine Cieslinski.
Relatives and friends will be received on Friday, June 11, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the Celebration of Life at 11:00 a.m. in the Crosspointe Church, 2581 Freeport Road, Pittsburgh, 15238. Officiating will be Pastor Michael Brownfield. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of John may be made to the Allegheny Health Network Hospice, 4818 Liberty Avenue, Pittsburgh, Pa. 15224.
