Jean Ann Polczynski

Jean Ann (Geraci) Polczynski, 83, of Lake Wales Florida, formerly of Freeport, PA passed away peacefully on Wednesday, November 17, 2021 in Charles Town WV. Born on May 21, 1938 in Tarentum to the late Francis and Margaret (Tomasik) Geraci, Jean graduated from Arnold High School in 1956 and worked outside the home as a Dental Lab Technician and as a Floral Designer. A homemaker for the majority of her life, she loved golfing, bowling, painting, and anything involving arts and crafts, especially creating custom greeting cards and Christmas stockings. An avid golfer, she belonged to Riverforest Country Club in Freeport, Lake Wales Women's Golf Association at Lake Wales Country Club and the Locust Hill Golf Club in Charles Town WV. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles 1732 in Freeport; and a longtime member of Blessed Sacrament Roman Catholic Church prior to moving to Florida in 2000. Jean is preceded in death by her husband of 53 years, Thomas Alexander Polczynski in 2015. She is survived by son Thomas Polczynski II (Terry) of Pittsburgh, daughter Jodi Gamble of Delmont, and son Jeffrey Polczynski (Sandra) of Charles Town, WV. She is also survived by her sister Lorraine (Geraci) Palermo (Richard) of Lower Burrell, grandchildren Amber Landis (Joseph) of Sarver, Nicholle Reinsel (Troy) of Butler, Kyle Polczynski (Tiffany) of Baltimore, Lt. Drew Polczynski, of Charles Town, WV and Rachel Smith (Brian) of Columbus, OH. She is also survived by two great-grandsons Garrin Landis and Owen Reinsel.

Friends and family will be received at Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights on Saturday, December 4, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of a blessing service at 12 Noon. Officiating will be the Rev. Aaron J. Kriss.

An additional celebration of life ceremony will be held at Lake Wales Country Club with interment at Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL later in December.
