Irene W. (Hudek) Mozjesik

Irene W. (Hudek) Mozjesik, 85, of Natrona, passed away Saturday, September 3, 2016 in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. She was born May 14, 1931, in Russelton, a daughter of the late Stephen and Stella Hrustinec Hudek. Irene retired from the housekeeping department of Allegheny Valley Hospital. She was a member of Our Lady of the Most Blessed Sacrament R.C. Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Natrona Heights. Irene enjoyed traveling, her trips to the casinos and feeding the wildlife in her back yard. She is survived by her children, Barbara (Gary) Fall, of New Kensington, Albert A. (Corinne) Mozjesik, of Brackenridge and Christine Nicole (Donald) Heckelman, of Poestenkill, NY; three grandchildren, Bryan (Alyssa) Mozjesik, Sarah Mozjesik (Brandon) and Katie (Ryan) Coll; and by her five great grandchildren, In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Albert A. Mozjesik on November 19, 1977; and by her sister and two brothers.
Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4, 6-8 PM in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a blessing service will be held on Friday at 10:30 AM. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11 AM in Most Blessed Sacrament Church. Burial will be in Our Lady of Hope Cemetery, Frazer Township.
