Harold "Al" Debor, 89, of Cabot, formerly of Natrona, passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday, October 19, 2021. He was born June 29, 1932, in Brackenridge to the late Harold Arthur Debor and Alma Debor Rea. Al lived his entire life in the Alle-Kiski Valley. He served his country with the US Army during the Korean War, stationed in Austria. While in the service, Al played football and softball for his unit. Al worked for PPG Industries in Creighton for 10 years and retired in 1989 after 28 years of service from Equitable Gas, where he worked as a crew leader. He was a member of Guardian Angels Parish, Most Blessed Sacrament Church in Natrona Heights, the Knights of Columbus Council 2601 in Natrona, American Legion Post 48 in Natrona, Oregon Hunting and Fishing Club in Brackenridge and the Slovak Hall Association in Natrona. Al enjoyed golfing, bowling and attending sporting events of his children and grandchildren. Al is survived by his wife of 66 years, Mary Ann (Painter) Debor; his children, Charles ((Suzanne) Debor, Deborah (Jeffrey) Grupac, Mary "Mimi" Marcello, Kimberly (Joseph) Witucki, Pam (Michael) Stawinski and Tracy (Mark) Nitowski; grandchildren, Melissa (Joel) McQuade, Megan (Eric) Gillis, Michael & Matthew Marcello, Jared, Jacob and Adam Witucki, Emily (Jesse Gaurich) Stawinski, Jessica Stawinski, Cassandra (John) Gillette, Hannah Debor, Nicholas, Abigail and Kelly Nitowski; 6 great-grandchildren; brother, Richard (Laurie) Debor and by his sister, Georgia (Donald) Schmelzer. In addition to his parents, Al was preceded in death by his brother, Donald Debor. The Debor family would like to thank the staff at Concordia, especially the Lund Personal Care ground floor staff, for their kind and loving care.

Friends will be received on Thursday from 2-4, 6-8 p.m in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a parting prayer service will be held on Friday at 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. in Most Blessed Sacrament Church with the Rev. Aaron J. Kriss as celebrant. Burial with full military honors accorded by the Vandergrift Veterans Honor Guard will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights. The Ladies of Charity of Guardian Angels Parish will hold a parish vigil in the funeral home on Thursday at 1:45 p.m. and the Knights of Columbus will hold a service in the funeral home at 6:00 p.m. Thursday.
