Geraldine Mazgaj, 77, of New Kensington, formerly of Virginia, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 16, 2020 in Excela Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. She was born September 8, 1943, in Natrona a daughter of the late Michael and Cecilia (Cieslinski) Mazgaj. Geraldine had lived in Virginia from 1976 until moving back in 2004. She was a 1961 graduate of St. Joseph High School. Geraldine had worked for Beneficial Finance in New Kensington and then for Mid South Building Supply in Virginia as a bookkeeper. She was a member of St. Mary of Czestochowa R.C. Church in New Kensington. Geraldine was an avid Pittsburgh sports fan and enjoyed watching the Food Network. She is survived by her sister, Dorothy Mazgaj, with whom she made her home; brother, Robert Mazgaj and by her nephew, Paul Mazgaj.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, December 19, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. in St. Joseph Church, New Kensington. Burial will be in Mt. Airy Cemetery, Natrona Heights. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer Association, 2835 East Carson Street, Suite 200, Pittsburgh, Pa. 15203.
