Genevieve P. Mckrisky

Genevieve P. "Jean" (Wolowiecki) McKrisky, 93, of Lower Burrell, passed away peacefully on Saturday, September 9, 2023. She was born March 1, 1930, in Iselin to the late Nicholas and Mary (Turk) Wolowiecki. Jean was a member of St. Margaret Mary R.C. Church in Lower Burrell. She enjoyed sewing and cooking. Jean is survived by her children, Marilyn (Jay) Moon, of Merritt Island, Florida, Robert (Judy) McKrisky, of South Buffalo Twp., Donald (Kay) McKrisky, of Upper Burrell and Raymond (Kimberly) McKrisky, of Lower Burrell, grandchildren, Nicholas (Naomi) Moon, Katie Moon, Alissa (Josh) Bessette, Malia (James) Moran, Patty (Keith) Wolfe, Jayme (Brian) Brozeski, Stacey (Chad) Parker and Malary McKrisky, 14 great grandchildren and by her sister-in-law, Dorothy Wolowiecki, of Ohio. In addition to her parents, Jean was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. McKrisky on November 1, 2004, brother, Nicholas Wolowiecki and by her sisters, Ann Bryan and Helen Devine.


Friends will be received on Wednesday from 2-4, 6-8 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a parting prayer service will be held on Thursday at 9:45 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:30 a.m. in St. Margaret Mary Church. Entombment will be in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Jean may be made to the Animal Protectors of Allegheny Valley, 730 Church St., New Kensington, Pa. 15068.
