Dorothy Yaksetich

Dorothy E. Yaksetich, 93, passed away Friday, March 18, 2022, in Platinum Ridge Center, Brackenridge. She was born July 12, 1928, in Luzerne, PA., the daughter of the late Frank and Mary Karlotski Gliha. A resident of Natrona Heights, she was a long time employee of Hart's Department Stores and later with Laidlaw Bus Services. She enjoyed cooking, tending her flower garden and traveling to Virginia to visit her son. She was preceded in death by her husband of 69 years, James E. Yaksetich who passed away in 2017, and sister Nancy Ann White of McKees Rocks. She is survived by her son, Kenneth Yaksetich, of Springfield, VA., brothers Lawrence Gliha of Romulus, MI. and Robert Gliha, Dunedin, FL., and sisters Lorraine Boyer of Indiana, PA. and Judith (Greg) Gensler of McKees Rocks and numerous nieces and nephews.

Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688. Burial will be in Mt. Airy cemetery, Natrona Heights.
