Dorothy (Thompson) Mckay

Dorothy Ruth McKay, 100, of Sodus New York, formerly of West Deer Township, passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at Sodus Nursing and Rehab. She was born November 6, 1916, in Argentine, Butler County, a daughter of the late Bert and Sadie Crouch Thompson. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Jane (Ron) Johnson; son, Francis McKay; grandchildren; great grandchildren; great great grandchildren; brother, Clifford (Mary) Thompson of Fawn Township; nieces, nephews and close friends. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry W. McKay on January 19, 1991; daughter-in-law, Annette McKay; brothers, Francis 'Bluejay', Howard 'Coon' and Harry 'Mick' Thompson; and sisters, Kathryn Dodson, Marie Miller, Grace Bryan and Edith Comperatore.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 4-7 PM in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where funeral ceremonies will be held on Wednesday at 11 AM.
