Dorothy J. Jentgens

Dorothy J. (Jendrzejewski) Jentgens, 85, of Natrona, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 6, 2021 in UPMC St. Margaret Hospital, Pittsburgh. She was born October 13, 1935, in Natrona a daughter of the late Frank and Catherine (Zbrzyski) Jendrzejewski. Dorothy was a lifelong resident of Natrona and worked for over 25 years at the local voting poles. She was an active member of Guardian Angels Parish, St. Ladislaus Church in Natrona. Dorothy enjoyed listening to polkas and country music, watching game shows and working crossword puzzles. Dorothy is survived by her children, Karen L. Jentgens, of Creighton, Denise M. (Steve) Sydlik, of Natrona, Kimberly (Joseph) Mostowy, of Shaler, William A. Jentgens III, of Natrona and Andrea (Arden) Verner, of Fawn Township; 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren; son-in-law, Joseph Gibbons, of Ft. Pierce, Florida; sisters, Elizabeth Orzechowski, of Apollo and Frances Wagner, of Vero Beach, Florida and by numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, William A. Jentgens Jr. on October 13, 2015, daughter, Deborah J. Gibbons, brothers, Milton, Leonard and Daniel Jendrzejewski and by her sister, Irene Kocon.

Friends will be received on Monday from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m.. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where parting prayers will be held on Tuesday at 9:30 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 10:00 a.m. in Most Blessed Sacrament Church with the Rev.
