Donald C. Peiffer Sr.

Donald C. Peiffer Sr., 91, of Buffalo Township, passed away Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at his home. He was born June 25, 1930, in Natrona Heights a son of the late Clair and Esther (Leasure) Peiffer. Don was a veteran of the Korean War serving as a corporal in the United States Army. He retired from Freidman's Supermarkets, where he worked as a produce driver. After retiring, Don worked as a bus driver for W.L. Roenigk for 22 years. Don was a member of the First Baptist Church in Tarentum. He enjoyed bowling, antique cars and taking care of his lawn. Don is survived by his wife of 23 years, Patricia (Ashbaugh) Peiffer; sons, Donald (Linda) Peiffer Jr., of Cabot, David (Patricia) Peiffer, of Brackenridge and Curt (Susan) Peiffer, of Natrona Heights; stepsons, John Klingensmith and Jerry Klingensmith; step-daughter, Susan (Randy) Dickson, grandchildren, Christy, Christie, Matthew, Josh,, Christopher, Shannon, Jacob and Jedidiah; step-granddaughter, Melynn Dickson, ten great-grandchildren and by his sister, Marge Giesler, of Harrisville. In addition to his parents, Don was preceded in death by his first wife, Geraldine Viola (Macurdy) Peiffer, brothers, Delmont (Hoss), Richard (Dick) and Robert F. Peiffer and by his sister, Dorothy Stoops.

Friends will be received on Saturday from 2:00 p.m. until the time of service at 4:00 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688.
