Dolores Mckrisky

August 4, 1931 — February 5, 2022

Dolores "Dolly Mack" (Drupiewski) Mckrisky, 90, of Natrona Heights died peacefully at home surrounded by her family on February 5th, 2022.

She was born August 4, 1931, in the historic Penn Salt Houses in Natrona, Pa and was the daughter of Polish immigrants, Stanley and Blanche (Cieslak) Drupiewski.

Dolly left school in the 8th grade to take care of her mother and spent her life as a caretaker for her children and later her grandchildren. She met her future husband at the age of 19 when his band, the Eddie Mack Orchestra, was playing at a Slovak club in Natrona. He proposed to her in a movie theater with a cracker-jack box and they spent a wonderful 55 years together. They owned the Silver Slipper Bar in Natrona and operated it themselves from 1954-1962.

Dolly was the happiest surrounded by her family and closest friends and was always up for a party. She loved listening to polka music, especially the songs by her late husbands band; traveling to watch her sons softball tournaments and visiting his camp in Tionesta; sitting outside on warm days with her dog Minnie in her lap; getting her nails done in the perfect shade of purple; and it was a great day if she didn't have to change out of her pajamas.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Edward "Eddie Mack" McKrisky, Sr.; her brothers Edward (Mary), Leonard, Raymond, Bernard (Josephine), Ronald "Rich" (Norma) Drupiewski; her sisters Cecelia (Edward) Trawinsky, Jane (Walter) Pelczarski; her daughter-in-law, Helen McKrisky; and her step grand-son Sam Bargerstock.

She is survived by her five children, Edward "Eddie Mack Jr" McKrisky, of Natrona, Mark (Terry) McKrisky, of Natrona Heights; daughters, Renee (Keith) Richards, of Brackenridge, Mary Beth (Gary) Kesicki, of Natrona Heights, and Janelle (Kent) Markle, of Lower Burrell; her grandchildren, Heidi, Mark Jr, Alexis, Brianna, Ethan, Payton, Sheldon, Marissa, Delaney, and Tabitha; her great-grandchildren, Ronin, Raelyn, Henley and Sutton; 5 step grandchildren; numerous step great-grandchildren; and her beloved dog, Minnie.

Services and burial for Dolly were private. Arrangements are under the care of the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc. Natrona Heights 724-224-8688. To send an online condolence please visit www.cicholski-zidekfh.com.
