Dennis M. Bohatch

Dennis M. Bohatch, 70, of Buffalo Township, passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 29, 2023 with his family by his side. Born August 27, 1952 in New Kensington to the late Stephen and LaVerne (Silcox) Bohatch Sr. Dennis was a graduate of Deer Lakes High School. He retired after 30 years as a senior supervisor from Allegheny Ludlum Steel, Brackenridge. After retirement, Dennis worked at The Lighthouse Marina in New Kensington. Dennis was a member of The Corvette Club of Western Pennsylvania and enjoyed car cruises and boating on the Allegheny River in Clinton and Freeport. He is survived by his wife, Shirley (Rieger) Bohatch, children, Alisha (Ryan) Johnson, Joshua (Lauren) Alcorn, grandchildren, Hudson and Ayla Johnson and Madison and Gavin Alcorn, brothers, Stephen (Cathy) Bohatch Jr. and Kerry (Billie Jean) Bohatch, nephews, Christian (Ginger) Wilson and Brandon (Maria) Wilson and by several other nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Dennis was preceded in death by his first wife of 25 years, Cynthia (Durci) Bohatch. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the Hillman Cancer Center for their care and support during this difficult time.
