David E. Peters

David E. Peters, 79, of Tarentum, passed away peacefully on Sunday, December 5, 2021 in Belair Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, Lower Burrell. He was born October 3, 1942, in New Kensington to the late Helen (Andrassey) Pugh. David retired from Allegheny Lumber in Tarentum, where he worked as a truck driver. He was an avid Steeler fan and enjoyed country music, dancing and his trips to Disney. David is survived by his wife of 55 years, Carolyn (Macura) Peters; children, Christine (Todd) Doverspike, of Sigel and David A. (Michelle) Peters, of Natrona Heights; grandchildren, Nathan and Phillip Doverspike and Georgia and Jake Peters; brothers, Edward (Lynn) Peters, Timothy Pugh and John (Caroline) Hettman and by his sisters, Darlene (Terry) Lehman, Audrey Galzerano, Lillian Pugh, Lisa Davis, Anne Pugh, Michelle (Gary) Moore and Colleen Hettman. In addition to his mother, David was preceded in death by his grandson, Dillon Doverspike.
