Claude E. "Ed" Cline, 81, of Natrona Heights passed away on Saturday, June 25, 2022 surrounded by his family. He was born February 28, 1941, in Pittsburgh to the late Claude F. and Ida Jane (Uptegraph) Cline. Ed served his country in the United States Navy. He worked as a metal fabricator at the former Butler Fabricator's. Ed was a member of Guardian Angels Parish, St. Ladislaus Church in Natrona. He was a volunteer for the Big Brothers of Baltimore and a member of the Optimist Club of Baltimore. Ed enjoyed the oldies and collecting records and arrowheads. Ed is survived by his wife of 45 years, Judith (DiPasquale) Cline; children, Jennifer (Shawn) Scott, of Natrona Heights and Matthew (Tiffany) Cline, of Buffalo Township and by his grandchildren, Ryan, Eric, Roxanne and Rosalie. In addition to his parents, Ed was preceded in death by his brother, Michael J. Cline.
Friends will be received on Tuesday from 2-4, 6-8 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where a blessing service will be held on Tuesday at 6:00 p.m. Officiating will be his pastor the Rev. John B. Lendvai. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, contributions in memory of Ed may be made to the Tunnel for Towers, 2361 Hylan Blvd., Staten Island, NY 10306 or to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN. 38105.
