Anna Rae (Cox) Schreckengost

Anna Rae (Rae Ann) Schreckengost, 64, of Natrona Heights, passed away Friday, May 20, 2016 at her home. She was born November 12, 1951, in Natrona Heights, a daughter of the late Alex and Dorothy Dern Cox. Rae Ann was a 1969 graduate of East Deer High School. Rae Ann worked as a Real Estate Broker for Century 21. She was a member of the Alle Kiski Strong Chamber, the American Legion in Brackenridge and the Tarentum Rotary Club where she was a past president. Rae Ann was an avid Steeler fan and enjoyed traveling, bingo and especially spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her two sons, Chad (Jayme) Schreckengost, of Natrona Heights and Chris (Ashley) Schreckengost, of Olney, Md.; four grandchildren, Brody, Olivia, Abby and Zoe; and by her twin brother, Jay (Suzy) Cox, of Buffalo Township. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Donna Welteroth.
Friends will be received on Monday from 2-4, 6-8 PM in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle St., Natrona Heights 724-224-8688, where funeral services will be held on Tuesday at 10 AM.
