Alice L. Pater

Alice (Lehman) Pater, 90, of Natrona Heights, passed away peacefully on Monday, February 15, 2021 in Allegheny Valley Hospital, Natrona Heights. She was born September 9, 1930, in Brackenridge, a daughter of the late John and Dorathea (Thiemann) Lehman. Alice was a 1948 graduate of Har-Brack High School. She worked as a secretary for Alcoa in New Kensington and then retired as a Mortgage Lender for Peoples Savings and Loan in Natrona Heights. Alice was a member of Faith Lutheran Church in Natrona Heights. She played the organ for over 65 years for the former St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Tarentum and St. John's Lutheran Church in Natrona and was currently playing the organ for Trinity Lutheran Church in Freeport. Alice enjoyed gardening. She is survived by her two sons, Michael (Donna) Pater, of Lower Burrell and Robert Pater, of Brackenridge; grandchildren, Tyler Streblick, Abby Streblick, Stephanie Pater and Ryan Pater and by her brother, John (Marilyn) Lehman, of Atlanta, Georgia. In addition to her parents, Alice was preceded in death by her husband, Clifford D. Pater on November 9, 2013, son, James E. Pater on February 24, 2020 and by her granddaughter, Heather Pater.

Friends will be received on Friday from 4-7 p.m. in the Cicholski-Zidek Funeral Home, Inc., 1522 Carlisle Street, Natrona Heights 724-224-8688. Funeral service will be held on Saturday at 11:00 a.m. in Faith Lutheran Church with Barbara Ravenstahl, officiating. Everyone is asked to please meet at the church. Burial will be private.
