Beverly Frantz

July 10, 1933 — March 31, 2024

Beverly (Drury) Frantz, 90, of Lower Burrell, passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 31, 2024. She was the daughter of the late Raymond Clark and Hilda (Negley) Drury. Beverly was a 1951 graduate of Tarentum High School and attended New Kensington Commercial School for 1 year. She also attended Penn State and was a graduate of Realtors Institute. Before she married she was a Musical Director for Empire Producing Co., in Kansas City, Mo. Beverly also worked in the offices of Allegheny Ludlum Steel in Brackenridge and Leechburg. Beverly was a member of the Eastern Star in Tarentum, the DAR (Daughters of the American Revolution), Stonecroft Bible Study and Disciple Bible Study at her church, Trinity United Methodist Church in Brackenridge. She loved to travel and was in every state, including Alaska and Hawaii, but particularly liked traveling to Europe. She worked for Howard Hanna Real Estate for many years and when she married Harry Frantz, she and Harry opened their own office, Howard Hanna Valley Real Estate in Slate Lick, which they had for 10 years until his death. Beverly is survived by her daughter, Lisa (Sid) Lawecki, son, Edward C. Alfonso and by her grandson, Joseph Lawecki. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Harry Frantz, grandson, David Lawecki and by her sisters, Myrna Fascetti and Gertrude George.
